Yet another late catastrophe from the Terriers has left them on the brink of the drop. One week from now, it could all be over. Is there any hope left?

You could smell it in the air, see it on the faces, feel it like a punch in the gut. Everybody knew. That’s could be Huddersfield Town all but relegated now.
The complete gravity of their situation will become clearer after Sheffield Wednesday’s game against Blackburn on Sunday. But the bottom line is that Town could now beat Birmingham next weekend and still go down, especially with such an awful fixture for their final game and Sheffield Wednesday currently hold a game in hand.
If Town lose to Birmingham, it will be a mathematical certainty. Rotherham’s favour to Town is largely irrelevant.
There is no need to add anything else to that. It’s all but done, and only a miracle of miracles will save them now. Even Andre Breitenreiter admitted he could understand if the fans have lost belief.
