Huddersfield Town announce Lee Grant's backroom staff
Grant has added three key staff members in advance of his first pre-season as Terriers manager
New Huddersfield Town manager Lee Grant has confirmed three members of his management team as the Terriers gear up for pre-season.
Grant has brought in three new assistant coaches to support his work in his first full-time managerial role.
Former Hull City, Reading and Sunderland defender Paul McShane joins Town from Manchester United, where he book-ended his playing career and has been working as the Red Devils’ Professional Development Phase coach, Youth Manager and Under-21s Assistant Manager.
McShane played 33 times for the Republic of Ireland and remains in his role as Under-21s assistant coach under Jim Crawford.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson returns to the John Smith’s Stadium having previously been a coach at the Huddersfield Town Academy.
The ex-Port Vale and Carlisle United midfielder held various age-group academy coaching roles at Liverpool and stepped down from his role at the end of the season having helped to develop players including Conor Bradley, Jarell Quansah and Tyler Morton.
Jonathan Robinson spent nine years at Liverpool after joining from Swansea City, working as a performance analyst and academy coach before Steven Gerrard took him to Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ettifaq as his assistant in 2023.
Robinson offers knowledge of developing players in England and abroad at both youth and first team levels.
