Coming up next
For this Saturday’s 3pm kick-off, Town will travel to Milton Keynes, who are back in League One after finishing second in the fourth tier last season.
Paul Warne’s side were by far the highest scorers in League Two last season with 86 goals, even while conceding less than a goal per game.
Milton Keynes started the season with a 4-1 defeat to Championship Norwich in the Carabao Cup before taking a very creditable 2-2 draw away from Oxford United — and they will have been disappointed not to have got more after conceding a 96th minute equaliser.
We’ll have five conclusions on the game for our paying subscribers first thing on Sunday morning, followed by further reaction in Monday morning’s podcast.

Huddersfield Town injuries and absences
Town had ‘a couple of knocks’ on Saturday and Martin Drury will now have to make late calls on two players he preferred not to name.
Bali Mumba will serve a three-match ban for his straight red card against Wimbledon at the weekend.
Archie Collins could be integrated into the side this weekend having been without a club in pre-season. Drury is keen to build up Collins’ minutes rather than throwing him straight in to play a full 90 straight away
Sean Roughan is out for ‘a period of time’ with a thigh strain.
Herbie Kane, Cameron Ashia and Marcus McGuane all remain sidelined.
Predicted line-up to face MK Dons

Substitutes: Nik Tzanev, Joe Low, Murray Wallace, Jay Sway, Archie Collins, David Kasumu, Bojan Radulovic.
