Coming up next
Peterborough United have well and truly found their feet since Luke Williams’ arrival after getting off to an abysmal winless start to the season under his predecessor Darren Ferguson.
A league table since Williams moved to the Posh on 29th October would put Peterborough in third place, just behind Cardiff and Lincoln and just ahead of Huddersfield. Across the whole season, they now sit in 10th place, seven points behind the Terriers and the play-off places.
Peterborough have had some setbacks since the new year, however, losing 5-2 to Lincoln, 1-0 at home to Plymouth (albeit with ten men) and most recently 1-0 away to fellow play-off hopefuls Stevenage on Tuesday night.
Harry Leonard leads the way on the goal charts with eight strikes in 22 league appearances this season.
We’ll have five conclusions on the game for our paying subscribers by no later than first thing Sunday morning, followed by further reaction in Monday morning’s podcast. Get signed up to get it all, if you’re not already.
Elsewhere in League One
Bradford City will be at home to Doncaster and Bolton Wanderers go away to AFC Wimbledon in the Saturday lunchtime kick-offs. Anything less than a win for Bradford would give Town the opportunity to leapfrog them into fifth place.
Cardiff City visit Burton and Lincoln City are away to Wigan Athletic as they look to maintain their stranglehold on the automatic promotion places.
Fourth-placed Stockport County are just slightly out to Town’s reach at the moment and could stay that way if they get a result at home to Plymouth.
The Terriers meanwhile have Stevenage breathing down their necks after their victory over Peterborough in midweek. They will go away to Barnsley on Saturday.

Huddersfield Town injuries and absences
Town are appealing the red card shown to Alfie May against Luton. If the appeal is not successful he can likely expect a four-match league ban since it is his second straight red card of the season. May is however eligible to play against Doncaster in the Trophy.
Bojan Radulovic went off with a hamstring injury moments before May’s red card and will have a scan on Thursday to assess the extent of the injury.
Marcus McGuane has served his one-match suspension for the red card he received against Bradford and is available for selection against Peterborough.
Herbie Kane has been back in full training since last week.
Antony Evans and Sean Roughan are doing partial reintegration into training with the rest of the squad after knee and groin injuries respectively. Jack Whatmough remains out with a calf injury.
