Huddersfield Town League One fixtures 2024/25
The Terriers have been given their schedule for the third-tier campaign ahead
Huddersfield Town will begin the new season away to familiar League One promotion rivals Peterborough United in 5:30pm kick off, with Stevenage the first side set to visit the John Smith’s Stadium in the league.
During the festive period, Town will visit Cambridge United prior to Christmas, before hosting Stockport County on Boxing Day with another home game against Burton three days later. Michael Duff’s side will travel to Wigan Athletic on New Year’s Day.
Huddersfield Town’s season will end on 3rd May with a visit from Leyton Orient. The play-off final, should they need it, will be played on the bank holiday weekend of 24th-26th May.
Town have meanwhile already been drawn alongside Barnsley and Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Trophy, with a Premier League under-21s side set to be added at 2:30pm on Thursday. Dates for the group stage are yet to be finalised but games will begin from early September.
The Carabao Cup first round is set for the week commencing 12th August, while the first round of the FA Cup is set to be played on the weekend of 2nd November.
