Huddersfield Town need to live up to 'togetherness' ethos after defeat to Doncaster
Michael Duff and Kevin Nagle offered differing takes on Tuesday evening's 2-1 loss in the EFL Trophy
Over the past week, there has been a touch of defiance from Michael Duff and Martin Paterson at their respective press conferences about the way their side’s winning start has become a losing streak.
Even when Town still had a 100% record, Duff warned people not to ‘get bored of winning’ and come to take it for granted. Paterson, meanwhile, expressed his distaste for using words like ‘drifted’ to describe their performances.
Duff has pointed out that Town were relegated for a reason. He explained that his players are having to get used to playing as a team that is expected to dominate games, rather than one that is expected to defend and look for opportunities on the counter-attack.
