Huddersfield Town ratings as season ends in heavy defeat to Leyton Orient
The Terriers were repeatedly caught on the counter-attack as Orient booked their play-off place with a 4-1 win
Jacob Chapman - 3
Nothing he could really do on goals one and three, but flapped a looping, deflected cross into his own net for Leyton Orient’s second with no obvious foul visible on the replays, contrary to his claims. Couldn’t get down in time to keep out the fourth.
Neo Eccleston - 6
Continued on the right of the Town back three, which is not the full-back’s favoured position. Tidy enough showing in the main. Worked hard to win some headers in the opposition box but couldn’t quite make them pay off.
Matty Pearson - 5
Again exposed for pace as Orient repeatedly hit Town on the counter-attack. More comfortable when asked to defend balls into the box.
Ollie Turton - 4
Pulled out of making a challenge on Charlie Kelman and unable to block Dan Agyei’s finish as Orient scored their third goal.

David Kasumu - 5
Still don’t love him playing out wide, but needs must we suppose. Got up and down the pitch well and won some useful challenges but couldn’t find a final ball.
Jonathan Hogg - 7
Played his last game for the club, at least as it stands. Played some lovely balls in the final third, including putting Koroma in to score just before half time. Naturally got a rapturous reception from all corners of the ground upon his arrival and then when he was subbed off midway through the second half.
Herbie Kane - 5
Relatively quiet game as Hogg and Evans took centre stage. Skied a presentable chance from the edge of the box in the second half.
Lasse Sorensen - 4
Had a slow start to the game at left wing-back and was too easily beaten on the way to Orient’s second goal, but started coming into it a bit more as half time approached and continued that after the break. Would like to see again whether he could have done more to get back on Orient’s many dangerous counter-attacks, and didn’t look great as he stood static while Ethan Galbraith crossed for Orient’s fourth.
Antony Evans - 7
Had a good game in midfield, despite a lot of mediocrity and poor performances around him. Worked hard off the ball, got things moving forward and tried hard to help the attack by making runs into the box. Just didn’t have enough to play to ahead of him.
Joe Taylor - 3
Looked frustrated after being hit with a few reducers and niggly fouls in the early going. Never really in the game.
Josh Koroma - 4
Gave Leyton Orient an absolute gift early on as he cut out an attempt to counter-attack from a corner, only to bafflingly give the ball to Jamie Donley to race into the box and square for Dan Agyei to open the scoring. Gave the ball away again later in the first half in similar circumstances, but this time got back to win a tackle inside the box. Determined work to atone for his earlier errors, scoring for a fourth game in a row off Hogg’s ball, sparing him a lower mark.
