Given the two years we’ve just had watching Huddersfield Town, it’s nice to come away from a game with our biggest criticism being that they looked a little too confident.
We say that mostly in jest, of course. After all the talk of a positive pre-season, you could forgive Town fans for having gone into this game with some apprehension. Peterborough were play-off semi-finalists and League One top scorers last season, after all. Plus, last time Town came down a division with hopes they might get to win some games again, those illusions were shattered immediately.
This time, things might just be different. It took a few minutes to adjust to watching League One football and the different demands required, but you can only ever judge a team on what they do in the context of a given game.
And the most important bit of context here is this: they got the three points.
