Huddersfield Town unveil new 2026/27 third kit from Castore

'Yellow pear' third shirt gets a Castle Hill-themed badge for one season only

Huddersfield Town have released their final Castore strip of the season and it features a unique nod to the local landscape that’s perfect for a Yorkshire Day launch.

The regular Town badge has been replaced on the new third kit by a single-colour image of Victoria Tower, celebrating the famous Castle Hill for the 2026/27 season only.

It adds to the crisp look of the shirt, which features just two colours. The primary colour is ‘yellow pear’, while the sleeve cuffs, shoulder detailing and subtle collar piping are picked out in ‘dusty turquoise’ — the same colour as the shorts. The socks are primarily yellow.

Turquoise has also been used for the woven Victoria Tower crest, as well as Castore’s embroidered branding, which, unlike the new kits of a handful of select clubs, still includes the logomark.

The Terriers’ principal partner, HeyDude, is present, correct and turquoise. Utilita and Core Facilities Management will have their full-colour logos on the back of the shirt and on the sleeve respectively.

‘Yellow pear’ as a base will divide opinion, naturally, but the turquoise shade pairs with it nicely and the kit benefits from a simplified palette. The collar’s partial turquoise insert is a sharp addition but we’ll need to see the kit in action before we finalise a view on the shoulder wings.

As for the badge, well, here’s the thing: third kits are third kits for a reason. We’re all for using them to give the repertoire a feel of something special every few seasons, even if it means taking the standard club crest away for nine months.
