Kyle Hudlin departs Huddersfield Town for Newport County loan
The centre-forward has made a deadline day switch to League Two
Kyle Hudlin will spend the first half of the 2024/25 season out on loan with League Two side Newport County.
The 6’9” centre-forward has not been involved with Michael Duff’s first team over the summer or into the new season so far, last making a first-team appearance for Town in December.
Signed from Solihull Moors in 2022, Hudlin has had previous loan spells with AFC Wimbledon in 2022/23 and with Burton Albion in the second half of last season.
Hudlin will now remain with Newport until January.
Hudlin joins Neo Eccleston and Sorba Thomas in having departed on loan over the summer winder, while Jack Rudoni, Tyreece Simpson, Ben Jackson and Josh Austerfield have all left in permanent moves.
