Town Women win: Three points, two goals, one clean sheet.
Glen Preston's side beat York City Ladies 2-0 at home
Town Women remain unbeaten in the league at home after brushing aside York City for the second time this season. A goal from Scarlett McMahon plus an own goal and a strong display from goalkeeper Kacey Bolton-Woollam meant the Terriers earned a well-deserved three points.
Serena Fletcher returned to the squad for the first time this season and was instantly slotted into the back line to replace the absent Beth Ibbotson.
Fletcher said: “The game was a challenge but it was good to get the win. It was good to be back with the girls, get the three points and now we keep moving on.
“We just have to take this performance into next week’s FA Cup match.”
