Zepiqueno Redmond returns to Aston Villa as Huddersfield Town loan terminated
The winger's move to Accu Stadium has been cut short by mutual consent
Zepiqueno Redmond has returned from Huddersfield Town to Aston Villa following a mutual agreement to end his loan spell with the Terriers.
The winger arrived on transfer deadline day but was kept out for three months by a knee injury sustained in late September.
Redmond returned to full training last month but did not feature in any of Lee Grant’s first-team matchday squads.
He returns to Villa Park after making just three appearances, with his sole goal coming as a consolation strike away to Bradford City.
Grant said in a club statement: “In the short time we had to work with Zepi, we really enjoyed his enthusiasm and what he looked to bring to our attacking play.
“Sadly, his involvement has been extremely limited following his knee injury, and it’s in the best interest of all concerned that he returns to his parent club at this stage of his development.
“A wonderful character, everyone at the club wishes him nothing but the very best with his future career and development.”
