Kian Harratt's Fleetwood loan move made permanent
The Huddersfield Town academy graduate has joined the League Two side on a permanent basis
Huddersfield Town striker Kian Harratt has completed a permanent move to League Two side Fleetwood Town.
Harratt spent the first half of the season on loan at Highbury Stadium and has now made the move permanent on undisclosed terms.
The 22-year-old has made 26 senior appearances for the Town first team after coming through the club’s B team system, with his last outing coming in the League Cup defeat to Walsall in August.
Since joining Fleetwood, on loan, Harratt has featured 20 times in all competitions — largely from the bench — registering three goals and an assist.
Harratt previously had loan spells at Harrogate Town, Guiseley, Port Vale and Bradford City, with his time at Valley Parade terminated early after he was fined for hare coursing. He was also fined for poaching offences in December.
The forward missed the second half of last season after being suspended for four months by the FA following his admission to breaches of the governing body’s betting rules.
Harratt is the third Town player to leave the club permanently this month after Jaheim Headley joined League Two side Port Vale and Kieran Phillips completed a move to Scottish Premiership side Ross County.
